Bio

Earl is the Founder and CEO of RANA Respiratory Care Group, a diverse Manitoba based company comprised of two business units, with offices in Winnipeg, Brandon, Morden, Regina, Saskatoon and four clinics in Calgary. The two units focus on community-based respiratory care services for clients suffering from Asthma and Sleep Disorders. He holds a diploma in Healthcare Administration from the University of Saskatchewan and has spent the last 35 years working in a variety of roles within the healthcare sector. RANA’s other division pioneered the use of on-site medical oxygen concentrators in acute care hospitals, and invented an innovative breathable air system for underground mine refuge stations, now used in hard rock mines throughout the world. Earl has a passion for seeing innovation and commercialization development in Manitoba. Currently he is immersed in a new startup, Cerebra Health, that is bringing two new ‘Made in Manitoba’ sleep technologies to the Canadian marketplace. As part of this strong commitment to the medical device industry he is an active member of the Life Science Association of Manitoba (LSAM), having served two years as the Association’s Chairman.
