Encouraging people to see that they are allowed and deserve to have a happy life and a violent free home and workplace.

What do you do for a living, and why?

As a retired police officer who has witnessed the darker side of society and experienced workplace bullying, my goal as a consultant, is to share these events and show how you can move from despair to a place of peace, happiness and success. For me explaining that our past does not have to define our future, may help motivate a change in attitude.

Why are you excited to speak at TEDxWinnipeg?

For the first time there is a larger audience where just maybe, one person will decide to make positive changes in their life both personal and professional. Everyone deserves a violent free home and workplace.

What is your idea worth spreading?

To encourage, educate and empower people to speak up against bullying/harassment in the workplace. Using my experiences to give hope.

What’s your connection to Manitoba?

Born and raised in Manitoba. Deep family Icelandic historical roots.
