Cheyenne Schroeder
Theatrical Consultant and Speaker Coach

Cheyenne Schroeder is an award-winning musical theatre director, choreographer, and community builder based in Winnipeg. For more than two decades she’s juggled rehearsal schedules, budgets, and the occasional burst of jazz hands—earning a reputation for clear, kind communication and coaching that lifts both people and performances.

At Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Cheyenne developed and led the Musical Theatre Program, founded the Musical Theatre Company, and even took a turn steering Marketing & Communications—proof she can keep both performers and spreadsheets in step. At the Royal Winnipeg Ballet she coordinated LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment, Action, and Dance), a national conference for 2SLGBTQ youth and women; produced concerts and festivals; partnered on grants and strategic initiatives; and championed diversity and inclusion training. Along the way she’s taught musical theatre and music theory, adjudicated choreographic competitions, and directed workshops and community productions.

Since 2015, Cheyenne has been a steady hand on the TEDxManitoba/TEDxWinnipeg planning committee—recruiting and training speaker coaches and specializing in one-on-one development. She’s helped everyone from scientists to surgeons shape ideas into stage-ready stories, while her private studio prepares performers for top programs and professional careers. Cheyenne brings a coach’s ear, a director’s eye, and a producer’s calm—exactly the blend you want when turning bright ideas into standing-ovation talks.
