Kim Zeglinski:
Under the Autism Umbrella: Providing Shelter From the Storm

Autism has a huge spectrum of symptoms and expresses itself in very different ways within each person. Kim helps us understand what it’s like from her experience and perspective. Kim has been an early years teacher in a variety of capacities for about 20 years. She is a writer-performer and a Nominee for the 2014 Manitoba Association of Playwrights’ Harry Rintoul Award for Best New Manitoba Play. She is pursuing a course of study in school counselling with an emphasis on Expressive Arts Therapy through a partnership between the University of Winnipeg’s Faculty of Education and W.H.E.A.T. Institute.
