TEDxWinnipeg 2015 has Wrapped!

TEDxWinnipeg 2015 took place on June 4, 2015 at the Tom Hendry Warehouse Theatre in Winnipeg, and was altogether a great experience. We had a sold-out event, and thousands joined us online for the livestream. We’re proud of the 5th-annual event we hosted, as some attendees have called it “Best Day Ever!” and our “Best TEDx Yet!” (thanks, Twitter-ers!).

We’ll have edited versions of each talk online soon — to find out when they’re posted, you can check back here, but better yet, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn. And don’t forget to join us on Meetup.com to be notified of upcoming meetups (see details further down this page).

For now, if you want to see what you missed (or see it again!), for a limited time you can see the full event as a single unedited video on our livestream page, where you can also download the event program to see the schedule and speaker bios.

If you wanted but were unable to be with us in person for the 2015 event, stay tuned this fall for an announcement about TEDxWinnipeg 2016. We’re dreaming even bigger for next year!

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWinnipeg, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWinnipeg event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Winnipeg TEDx Meetup

Love TED talks? Meet up with likeminded people and connect on ways to put the ideas worth spreading from the 2015 TEDxWinnipeg event (and other TED talks) into action. Brought to you by the TEDxWinnipeg team.
