Whether you’re a local artist, an independent business, or a visionary creator, we invite you to apply and showcase your work to an engaged audience of over 400 attendees.

Products may be dropped off the day before. Set-up runs from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM on the day of the event.

What we’re looking for
TEDx Winnipeg seeks vendors who bring originality, craftsmanship, and a fresh perspective to the market. We prioritize:
- Unique, innovative designs — Whether handcrafted or independently produced, your products must be designed and made in Canada.
- Diverse product lines — If you specialize in a single item, offer a variety of styles, colors, or designs.
- Distinctive offerings — We encourage makers who stand out rather than follow mainstream trends.
- Social presence — While a strong social media presence isn’t required, we do review accounts to see your products, interactions, and past setups. New makers are welcome!
Not permitted: MLM products (e.g., Tupperware, Norwex), resellers, or items prohibited by the University of Manitoba.
What’s included for vendors
By joining the TEDx Makers Market, you’ll receive:
- Website Recognition — Your business will be featured on the TEDx Winnipeg website.
- Social Media Highlights — We’ll showcase your work on our social channels before the event.
- Email Blast Inclusion — Gain exposure through our 1,000+ recipient mailing list.
- Event-Day Table Space — A dedicated vendor spot to present and sell your products.
Additional info: Tables and table dressings are provided, but backdrops and booths are not. Electricity is not provided, but WiFi is publicly accessible. Booth sharing is not allowed.
Cancellations & waitlist
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on when you notify us. If spots open up, we will reach out to vendors on our waitlist.
